Zurich by Night

 

Since I didn’t know my way round the city I asked the hotel concierge where to go.

He suggested the best sushi bar in the whole of Zurich.

Once arrived at the restaurant, House of Tokyo, I turned to the taxi driver rather disappointed. Maybe there had been a misunderstanding.

He just threw me down the taxi.

My outfit, bottom-up, was as follows: Tribute YSL, LBD (very little), lace culotte, blazer, white fox stole, pochette, rings, bracelets and a Cristobal Balenciaga vintage necklace, a collection item.

Since it had been described as the top Zurich sushi bar, I thought the atmopheare would have been much more International, but the location was rather wretched, and the first course served were fried grasshoopers.

I thought that the positive aspect of the place would be the sushi, but NADA, it was just what you find in other places, usually more charming and less expensive.

After the meal, where I can’t say to have eaten enough, I hit another destination to appease hunger: McDonald!

 

 

Per la scelta del ristorante, per la cena, ho chiesto aiuto al concierge dell’hotel,il quale mi ha consigliato il sushi migliore di Zurigo.

Arrivata davanti al ristorante, House of Tokyo, mi sono rivolta al tassista indispettita chiedendogli se ci fosse stato un errore…

Mi sono fatta ingannare dal fatto che fosse il più buono dei sushi di Zurigo, per cui immaginavo un ambiente più International, moderno, fashion, ed invece la location era piuttosto misera, per non dire altro, avrei voluto scappare alla vista di un piatto di cavallette fritte.

Il mio abbigliamento era decisamente inadatto: Tribute Ysl, LBD (molto little), culotte di pizzo, blazer, stola di volpe bianca, pochette di vernice, guanti, anelli, bracciali, ed una collana vintage di Cristobal Balenciaga pezzo d’archivio.

Credevo che l’aspetto positivo fosse almeno il sushi, invece NADA, il pesce era standard ed il conto decisamente salato.

Dopo questa cena all’insegna della copiosità del cibo, mi sono diretta verso un’altra meta per placare la fame: McDonald!

  10. Aw, this was a really nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to get something done.
